Dear Glowparty Team,
Hope you are all keeping well there in
Glowparty-land.
Sorry for the delay in sending some photos - our
launch event took place on 13 November, but it has been quickly followed
by a national annual conference which we had to host here. As you can
imagine we (me) have been up to our eyeballs in work. Everything is
scheduled to take off again the in the New Year, but I have booked a week
off as holiday before Christmas so will be taking a well-earned rest and
catching up with preparations for the festive season.
The winners of the competition were all primary
school children - aged 7, 8 and 10. Their parents/grandparents
accompanied them on the day and even thought parts of the proceedings were
to them quite boring, they enjoyed being "famous" for the day, having
their photos taken for the press and appearing on TV local news that
day. One of the winners had their idea made up into a life-size alien and
was propelled along with the help of a Girl Guide inside it (literally).
Thank heavens it didn't have to be me! Jean-Loup Chretien a retired
Brigadier-General from the French Air Force who is also a former Nasa
mission specialist astronaut came to promote the launch and presented the
space-related prizes to the children.
I thought I was going to loose our little Alien -
the children were loving it to death, wrapping their arms around it and
kissing it! It is now keeping me company at the side of my desk cheering
me up with its ever-smiling face.
We would all like to take this opportunity to thank
you once again for your help with this and to wish you all the very best
Christmas and hope that the New Year brings you peace and happiness.

I forgot about the drawing, but boy I didn't forget about the EShirts! I still wear my Spotlight EShirt I bought from you several months ago out to the clubs here and in WV. When I wear it out to the clubs, I always get questions about where I bought it. Sure wish I had some of your business cards to hand out to those who ask about it.
I will need a Size X-Large for my shirt
and I'd like to have the American Flag and Peace Sign EShirt Panels.
